‘Venkata is a traffic police cop. He is always in a soup and keeps getting into trouble. And he has two wives. Venkata is demoted because of the mistakes he commits while on duty. There are many comical situations which are sure to evoke big laughs in the theatre,’ says the actor-director Ramesh Aravind who will be directing this flick.

Sharmila Mandre who has worked in two Kannada films ‘Sajini’ and ‘Krishna’ will be playing the role of one of Aravind’s wives.  Model Anusha and new actress Meghana Mudhiyan are the other two heroines of the film. The shooting of ‘Venkata in Sankata’ will be held in two schedules and the film will be released in February 2009.
